04 agosto PoppyYay, poppy is coming home in 2 hours!!! And we got to see him last night too!! It was great!!!
I love you poppy!! Time to play.
  Slinky 02 agosto So sad I miss poppy!!! He's been working on a project for several days now and comes home really late!! I hate it and so does mommy and Jumpy! Poppy, stop working so late!!!! I want you home!! I keep scratching at the basement door in hopes you will come up the steps and give me a kiss & a hug. Mommy is starting to get really mad at me for doing it, too. But I'm sad you're not home.
 Lately we've had to stay in our cage because mommy and poppy are gone all day. I guess they go to work or something, although, I don't know what could be better than staying home with Jumpy and I all day long! Well, parents can be funny creatures sometimes, right Jumpy?

Slinky 24 luglio HotThis last week has been hot. Our power went out on Friday around noon. It got toasty here. Slinky and I didn't like it one bit! It was very unconfortable!
That night we got to spend the entire night out of the cage in the living room, it was great!! Mommy and Poppy didn't like it much though. We kept waking them up. They slept with us. Luckily, we got the power back on Saturday morning at 11am, that was great.
We've missed mommy. She was at work last week and the week before. When she goes to work, we have to sleep in our cage for the day, that is no fun. But at least it's comfy in there. Well, not much is going on. So, bye bye
Jumpy 26 giugno HmmmWell, I guess not all that much has happened lately. Mommy keeps talking about wedding stuff, which Poppy doesn't like. And she made some 'favors' for the wedding. I call them 'new investigating objects.' But mommy doesn't like me or Jumpy touching them, or sniff them, or scratch them. What else are these new things suppose to be for, Looking At!?! Psssh, that's dumb. Oh well.
Lately Jumpy and I have been sleeping a lot. That's always a fun thing. And this weekend we get to go to grandma's house, weeeeeeee. Scruff the kitty, scruff the kitty time!!!! YAY! .....If she holds still that is. Hmmm.
 Well, time to sleep again. Maybe mommy will take me outside to get the mail. I love that. I get to smell the outside. Mmmm

Slinky -sweet lovin' 01 giugno SurgeryJumpy got his surgery done on Thursday, a week ago, and is feeling better now. He plays and laughs. But he hates his medicine, it smells like bubblegum, and I guess it tastes just aweful!! He fights and scratchs mommy and poppy so. They get very angry with him for not eating his medicine. I'm glad I didn't have to have surgery!! But I did have to have my ears cleaned out last night, and Jumpy didn't, not fair! Anyway, the doctor said that he didn't get Jumpy's anal gland out and that he may have to have more surgery. Poor poor Jumpy!!! Me too, that means I have to have my food taken away again and not have Jumpy to sleep with and play with. I don't like that. Well, hopefully he won't have to have surgery again for awhile.
I'm tired now. Too much typing.

Slinky 22 maggio Long overdueIt's been a long time since writting in this space. Lets catch up. Mommy and Poppy moved us to a new home 4 months ago. We really like it here! It has stairs, it's awesome!! I love to play on the stairs, but sometimes I tumble down a few and frighten mommy. Jumpy likes them too!! Poppy chases him down the stairs and Jumpy gets all poofy with excitement of playing 'I'm faster than you.' On Saturday, we went to the vet to get shots. I don't really like them, and Jumpy hates them! The vet made me bleed where she gave me my shot. Mommy wasn't very happy about that! Then after Jumpy got his shot he had to go to a different vet to get an antihistamine and steriod shot because he had an allergic reaction to the distemper shot give a half hour earlier. Luckily we were still in MO and could be there quickly. Afterward, Jumpy was feeling all better, that made mommy all happy. :)
But today, I have to get my ears cleaned and nails clipped, ohhhh, how I Hate it!! I get so cranky when mommy and poppy do that!
Well, I'll give an update later on telling you all how Jumpy's surgery is going to go- it's on Thursday. :( Poor Jumpy!!!

Slinky Jo 01 gennaio New YearsJumpy and I got free range of the house. We could go into the bedroom, into the kitchen, even the hall & water heater closet (even though we were not suppose to). We danced and ran and laughed and played for over 2 hours. It was awesome!! We are so happy to be home with both mommy and poppy (mommy's name for daddy).
Well, I'm sleepy, so I'm going to bed now. Night night.
  SlinkyHolidays at Mommy'sFor Christmas Jumpy and I went to mommy's house. It was great! I tried to scruff Salem (the cat) but she is mean and I couldn't get it.  But it was fun trying! Jumpy was shy, he just walked around and sniffed everything. He was being the explorer and looked at everything at least three times. At the end of the two weeks he started wrestling with me, which was nice. I loved running around the living room and attacking any and everything that I saw, especially if it moved. I loved best running up the stairs!!! Stairs are the best things made! I also got to mark my territory in Salem's litterbox, hehe, it was great! 22 novembre Mom's homeFriday, November 18, Jumpy and I went to mommy's house for the weekend. It was great! I didn't get to put on a show for passerbyers though, but we love being in that house. There are so many smells to smell and places to get in to trouble. Plus, Salem (the kitty) is there, and I love to try to bite her. Sometimes I get her. 16 ottobre Ferret FrolicSlinky and Jumpy are WAY too tired to talk today. They went to a Ferret Frolic in Bridegton, MO today. It was a fun filled day, seeing other ferrets and smelling outside smells. They met Trooper (F.U.R.R.Y.s mascot), Flux, Prince, and a few more that I forget their names. Pictures say a thousand words, so take a look. 07 ottobre Woo!Tonight was GREAT! I ran and jumped and played 'til my little ferret heart was content. Slinky chased me around for a while, then I chased her, then Mommy chased me, and then I chased her! I was so excited that my tail was all poofy like a bottle brush. Talk about a good workout (for Mommy, too). Slinky wasn't as active tonight. After she was done being chased she fell asleep on Daddy's sweatshirt, and Daddy petted her and watched over her while she was napping. It was okay that she didn't want to play, though, I had Mommy to play with.
I didn't get as many treats tonight as I usually do. Slinky got to drink a lot of milk (her favorite), which wasn't too fair. Oh well, I get more treats than she does most of the time, I'm better at begging for food than she is.
Anyway, I'm sleepy now, I'm gonna go.

Jumpy 05 ottobre SleepyToday Jumpy and I slept a whole lot. Mommy and Daddy were gone all day and we didn't get a playtime at 11 am like we usually do, we were sad. But once they came back we got to come out and play, that was good. Jumpy got lots of treats and I got to attack a corn ear, it was fun!! Daddy didn't like it though, so he took it away from me once I bit through the plastic that was around it - but that's okay. Mommy will put more pictures of us up soon, so you can see how I really play. Ohh, daddy gave me a time out today too, I don't like time-outs! I was only scratching at the carpet. Oh well.
Bed time for me now.

Slinky 26 settembre Milk & TreatsToday we got to have some milk (at least I did, Jumpy doesn't like it so much) and a chicken treat. Jumpy got some applejucice because it's his favorite. Mommy and Daddy played good with us today. We frolicked in the plastic bags, it was great!!! Right now I'm sleeping because play was so much fun. Jumpy is sleeping too and in the hammock with me, he doesn't do that very often, he seems to like the floor. Well, tomorrow at 10 am is a new play day. First, Jumpy and I will see Daddy because he wakes us up since Mommy is at work. Then, Mommy comes home at 11 am and plays with us till we are ready for our nap. Ahhh, nap time
 . Ohh, I almost forgot, yesterday we got to go outside and see the rain!! That was terrific!! Well, I'm done telling Mommy what to write now. Bye. - Slinky

Jumpy 07 settembre CrazyThe babies, Slinky and Jumpy, have requested to me, their mama, that they have their own web page. So, here is their page and they will tell all of you that read this what their day was like. Without further ado, please allow me to introduce to you for the very first time, Miss Slinky and her baby brother Jumpy!
Slinky: Today was awesome! I got to play in the shower and pull mama's hair out of the drain, even though she doesn't like me to do it. I got some yogies (my treats, I perfer peanut butter) and I played with Jumpy a lot. He is starting to bite hard, I don't like it when he does that, so I squeal really loud and get him in trouble, hehehehehehe
 Jumpy: Slinky bites hard too!! Don't let her fool you, she has a mean streak about her. She may look all cute and innocent, but man, she's one big whiney-butt and gets me into trouble. On a good note though, I got a lot of treats today! Mommy gave me lots of jerky, which I really like now, and a yogie, and a raisin -mmmm.
